We have 4 main Adventure holidays a year that we need volunteers for!

So have a read through the details below and see which ones might work best for you!

TA Easter '22 - Our adventure holiday for 8-11 year olds

Monday the 18th - Friday the 22nd of April '22 - (the 18th is our team training afternoon).
Total Adventure Easter is a non-residential camp (except for Thursday where there is the option for the young people to camp over).Please bring a packed lunch each day and plenty of snacks to keep your energy up!

What to expect

We will meet at 13:00 on Monday to walk through how the week will run, child protection etc. and to set up for the next day when the young people arrive. The event finishes at 16:30 each day so expect to leave around 17:00, except for Thursday when we have a 'sleep over'. Tuesday - Friday we will meet on the Adventure Base at 08:30 for a team briefing and a short devotional to start the day.

TA Beacon '22 - Our Summer adventure holiday for 8-12 year olds

Sunday the 24th - Friday the 29nd of July '22 - (the 24th is our team training afternoon).
Total Adventure Beacon is a residential camp, where the youngsters enjoy camping out in our cosy timber yurts.

There is accommodation available for the whole week for volunteers, in our new 'timber leader cabins'!
The Dining cabin is set up for self catering, so you will need to bring ingredients for an evening meal for Sunday, cereal and food for lunch will be stocked up and provided and dinners will be provided too after that first night!

TA Peak '22 - Our summer adventure holiday for 12-15 year olds

Sunday the 31st July - Friday the 5th of August '22 -(the 31st is our team training afternoon).

Adventures in Worship '22 - Our worship experience holiday

Wednesday 26th - Friday 28th October 2022

Adventures in Worship is a residential camp, where the youngsters enjoy staying in our wellspring rooms. There is accommodation available for the 2 nights for volunteers too. We will be especially keen to welcome volunteers with musical backgrounds, creative skills, a passion for worship, dance instruction, tuition skills, AV skills! 
During these few days we will be encouraging our young people in their worship leading skills and adding in some fun adventure activities too.

What to expect

We will meet at 9am  on Wednesday to walk through how the event will run, child protection etc. and to set up for afternoon when the young people arrive.

What does volunteering involve?

Volunteering with us you will be helping to run activities alongside our instructors, tidying, helping to lead group discussions with the young people, and more. If you are experienced with children with additional needs, you may be paired up and asked to look out for someone.

You will need to bring:

• appropriate footwear
• a water bottle and raincoat
• and a big smile
